How We Work

The Program Committee meets on a regular basis to continually identify, plan and evaluate enrichment opportunities both in and out of the classroom.

Yes that's right, 100% of SCS students are reached through the school day, through assemblies, field trips and workshops!

Students who participate in after school programs can reap a variety of academic, social and behavioral benefits.

• More positive attitude towards school  •  Improved attendance  •  Deeper engagement in school  •  Higher homework completion  •  Enhanced scores & grades  • Improved self-confidence & self-esteem  •  Increased social communication and leadership skills  •  Greater community involvement, desire to help others and respect for diversity  •  Reduction in anxiety and depression
